– Менимча, президент Карзайнинг ўзи ҳам сиёсий битим зарур эканлигини тан олади. Масала уруш ҳолатида бу ишни қандай қилиб бошлашда. Мен бу муаммоларга қарамай, жараён давом этаверади деб умид қиламан.
Бундан аввал Афғон президенти АҚШ билан Америка ҳарбийларини 2014 йилдан кейин ҳам Афғонистонда қолишига йўл берган хавфсизлик келишими бўйича музокалар тўхтатгани айтилган эди.
Карзайнинг матбуот котиби Аймал Файзининг билдиришича, икки тарафлама хавфсизлик келишими бўйича музокараларнинг тўхтатилиши АҚШ ҳукуматининг Афғонистондаги тинчлик музокаралари бўйича айтган гапи қилган ишига тўғри келмаганига боғлиқдир.
Қарама-қаршиликлар нимадан иборат эканлигини Карзай вакили очиқламади.
АҚШ Қатар пойтахти Дохада ўз ваколатхонасини очган Толибон билан музокаралар бошлаш ниятида эканлигини билдирган.
Расмий Кобул музокараларга ўзи етакчилик қилишни истайди.Чоршанба куни Ҳомид Карзай агар Қатар музокараларига етакчилик афғонларга берилмаса, уни бойкот қилиши ҳақида айтганди.
Аммо Толибон гуруҳи Карзай ҳукумати билан учрашишни рад этган. Толибоннинг Қатарда очилган ваколатхонаси расмий турда “Афғонистон Исломий Амирлигининг сиёсий ваколатхонаси”, деб аталади.
Вазиятни юмшатиш учун ўтган тун АҚШ Давлат котиби Жон Керри Президент Ҳомид Карзайга сим қоққан.
У Толибоннинг Доҳада очилган ваколатхонасидан байроқ ва Афғонистон Исломий Амирлиги деган лавҳа олиб ташланиб, ўрнига Тинчлик Музокаралари Бюроси деган ёзув қўйилишини айтганди.
Афғон расмийлари эса, бу етарли эмас деган фикрда.
Айни пайтда эса, Афғонистон ҳукуматининг норозилигига қарамай, Доҳадаги ваколатхонадан Толибон байроғи олиб ташланмаган.
